29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. a) Roof - Employees performing roofing activities were exposed to a fall hazard of approximate fifteen (15) feet above the lower level without the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, on or about April 9th, 2019. Alan Kunsman Roofing & Siding was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1289830 citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 28, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2600 Avenue A, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
