29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) On or about April 9, 2019, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling between 18 to 22 feet while performing carpentry work without the use of fall protection. Acc, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1204408, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 21, 2017, with respect to a worksite located at Chase and Quentin, Palatine, Illinois. Acc, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1022787, citation 2, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 8, 2015, with respect to a worksite located at 37th & Saginaw Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
