29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): The hood and mounting of each hand-fed crosscut table saw was not arranged so that the hood would not offer any considerable resistance to the passage of material being sawn. (a) On or about March 12, 2019 a Delta RT-40 14 inch table saw was being operated with a broken hood which did not allow the material to pass through the saw smoothly exposing employees who used it to a cutby hazard from the turning saw blade. Champion Home Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard; 29CFR 910.213(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number; 1312228, citation number 01, item number 003, and was affirmed as a final order on; October 9, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at; 501 S Burleson Blvd., Burleson, TX 76028.
