29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 2nd floor of building- Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 12 feet while walking along the edge of the 2nd floor with no fall protection system; on or about 2/11/19. 2nd Repeat Back Dog Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1335300, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/29/18, with respect to a workplace located at 3 Chapel Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305. Back Dog Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 978879, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/10/14, with respect to a workplace located at 122 Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City, NJ.
