29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: a- 135 Garden Hills, Lakewood NJ: An employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 24 feet to the ground surface below, when walking/working from a residential structure's pitched roof without the use of fall protection. Condition observed on or about 01/30/19. Navy Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1343908, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/03/18, with respect to a workplace located at Forge Mill, Florence NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
