29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 23, 2019, at 1039 Gulf Drive, Summerland Key, Florida, 33402, an employee was exposed to a 20-foot fall hazard when applying roofing materials/self-adhering base sheets (peel and stick) onto a steep slope roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, and was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe-boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Justification for REPEAT: LINDHOLM CONSTRUCTION INC. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1106374, citation number 01, Item number 002, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/17/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 82779 Overseas Hwy, Islamorada, FL 33036. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
