29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) RVC Department An employee operated the DO All model 2013-V, S/n 571-165572 vertical band saw without the guard adjusted to the height of the RVC block. Approximately 11 inches of the blade was exposed. Violation occurred on or about 04/11/2019. Zimmer Trabecular Metal Technology Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212 (a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 995257, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/22/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 10 Pomeroy Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
