29 CFR 1926.651(b)(2): Utility companies or owners were not contacted within established or customary local response times, advised of the proposed work, and asked to establish the location of the utility underground installations prior to the start of work. a) On or about October 25, 2018, at Curtis Hall, 2001 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, Georgia during the excavation to locate a data line buried next to the Curtis Hall building, a gas line was cut. The employer failed to call to locate utilities prior to digging.
