29 CFR 1910.254(d)(9)(iii): Cables with damaged insulation or exposed bare conductors were not replace. On or about October 18, 2018, and at times prior thereto, in Bay 2, a Miller electric welder, had damaged cables exposing the employees to electrical shock hazards. The UMC Energy was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.254(d)(9)(iii)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1049297, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 27, 2015, with a final abatement date of August 27, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 3421 Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76111.
