29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(2)(iii): The employer used the scheduled monitoring option, and monitoring revealed employee exposures to chromium (VI) to be at or above the action level; however, the employer did not perform periodic monitoring at least every six months: (a) Chrome Plating Department: On August 2, 2017 and times prior, the employer's initial exposure determination conducted in October 2015 showed an employee's exposure was greater than the action level. Additional monitoring conducted in August 2017 also showed an employee's exposure was greater than the action level. The employer has not conducted employee exposure monitoring at least every six months. Industrial Plating & Machine Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(2)(iii)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1250513, citation number 1, item number 7a, and was affirmed as a final order on October 20, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 301 Princeton Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
