29 CFR 1926.502(d)(15): The employer does not ensure anchorage points used for attachment of personal fall arrest equipment are independent of any anchorage point being used to support or suspend platforms and capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds (22.2kN) per employee. The employer is failing to protect employees from fall and struck by hazards. This was most recently documented on or about October 1, 2018 at a jobsite located at or near 16875 Industrial Park Drive, Bowling Green, MO. The anchorage points used for attachment of personal fall arrest equipment were not capable of supporting at least 5000 pounds (22.2kN) per employee. Roof trusses, which collapsed, were used as anchorage points exposing employees to fall, and struck-by hazards. Franklin County Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 948959, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/7/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 801 Stone Bluff Court, Chesterfield, MO 63005.
