29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a) On or about October 2, 2018, employees were exposed to head injury while working without protective helmets in an area below roofing and hoisting operations where materials were being delivered to scaffolding and roof surfaces. Paragon Roofing Services Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100 (a) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1185603, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 14, 2017, with respect to a worksite located at 1142 Asbury Ave., Evanston, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
