29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: WORSKHOP: The employees required to wear filtering full facepiece cartridge respirators during the task, such as (but not limited to) powder spray painting had not been medically evaluated on an annual basis. Platt & LaBonia Company, LLC was previously cited for a similar violation of Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.134(m)(2), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 981989.015, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1b, issued on July 7, 28, 2014, a final order date of August 21, 2014, with respect to a workplace location at 70 Stoddard Avenue, North Haven, CT 06473.
