29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about September 11, 2018 at the above addressed jobsite, employees conducting roofing operations, at approximately 10.4-18.4 feet above ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d). ABC ROOFING & SIDING OF ILLINOIS, INC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1148263 citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 15, 2016 with respect to a workplace located at 315 Lake Street, North Aurora, Illinois 60542.
