29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: In the Door Shop, the employer did not ensure the Ironwood JT 300 flexible cord was provided with strain relief exposing employees to electrical hazards. Hoffman Cabinets, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 229 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1256185, citation number 1 , item number 10b and was affirmed as a final order on November 14, 2017, with a final abatement date of November 27, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 204 Sentry Dr. Mansfield, TX 76063.
