29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: Date of Violation: On or about 08-02-2018 and times prior thereto, located at U.S. Postal Service at 10509 Patterson Ave. Richmond, VA 22328, Condition: Employees were exposed to fire and electrical hazards from daisy-chained extension cords and surge protectors under the scanner battery charging area. The United States Postal Service was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard OSH ACT of 1970, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1247533, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 02-24-18, with respect to a workplace located at U.S. Postal Service. Sandston, VA.
