29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 1013 Hanover Avenue, Allentown, PA, Worksite, Roof - on or about July 5, 2018, employees were performing residential roofing work while accessing the roof areas by utilizing an extendable ladder system which was not extended at least three feet above the upper landing surface. AJ Kerekes Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1189342, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on December 5, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1020 N. 19th Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania. AJ Kerekes Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1077933, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 28. 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 27 Salor Drive, Coplay, Pennsylvania.
