29 CFR 1910.178(a)(6): Nameplates or markings for powered industrial trucks were not maintained in a legible condition: (a) BASF Corporation, at 10601 Fulton Street, Brighton, CO: On 7/3/18, the employer did not ensure that the nameplate or marking for a powered industrial truck was maintained in a legible condition. Employees operated a RICO model PWH 150 powered industrial truck to move "pots" of product, weighing approximately 4,600 to 5,400 pounds, in constricted areas of the Finish Mix area. The employer did not ensure that the nameplate of the RICO powered industrial truck was legible.
