Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.107(b)(9): A clear space of not less than 3 feet on all sides was not kept free from storage or combustible construction: a) ColorCoat, Inc./Middlesex, NJ- Spray booth area: The employer did not ensure that a clear space of 3 feet was kept on all sides of the spray booth. Combustible material such as but not limited to cardboard boxes, filter media, and Blue River combustible paints, were stored within 3 feet of the unit. Condition observed on or about June 5, 2018. The ColorCoat, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.107(b)(9), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1245158, citation number 1, item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on 9/12/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 294 North Industrial Park Rd, Milton, PA 17847.
