OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazards: On or about June 5, 2018, in the warehouse at the Zone Y, shipping and receiving, and Zone A storage rack areas at 5944 Peachtree Corners East, Norcross, Georgia: Employees performing warehouse work were exposed to struck-by hazards from the storage rack system supports and shelves being visibly damaged and still loaded with palletized automobile parts and materials. Parts Authority was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1205696, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 27, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 5944 Peachtree Corners East, Norcross, Georgia.
