29 CFR 1904.39(a)(1): Basic Requirement. Within eight (8) hours after the death of any employee as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the fatality to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Department of Labor: Following the work-related death of an employee that occurred on April 27, 2018, at a jobsite located at 2504 Dockside Court, Plano, Texas, the employer did not make an oral report to OSHA within 8 hours after the occurrence.
