29 CFR 1910.145(c)(3): Safety instruction signs were not used where there was a need for general instructions and suggestions relative to safety measures: a) Sodium Hydroxide Fill Pipe - Employees connected a pipe to a container filled with Sodium Hydroxide to transfer the chemical to a container inside the building. The employer did not ensure that the piping was labeled with appropriate chemical and safety instructions, on or about April 14th, 2018. b) INSPEXX 250 Fill Pipe - Employees connected a pipe to a container filled with INSPEXX 250 to transfer the chemical to a container inside the building. The employer did not ensure that the piping was labeled with appropriate chemical and safety instructions, on or about April 14th, 2018. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
