29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms and walking-working surfaces were not kept clean, orderly and in sanitary condition: a. 540 Port Carteret Road, Carteret, NJ - "Shower" (storage closet) The employer did not ensure storerooms were kept in an orderly condition. Employees placed excess sanitary products and other items haphazardly into the "shower" which was being used as a storage area. Violation observed on or about April 11, 2018 b. 540 Port Carteret Road, Carteret, NJ - Maintenance shop The employer did not ensure walking/work areas were kept in a clean and orderly condition. Maintenance employees left materials and equipment in a manner that created slip, trip, and fall hazards. Violation was observed on or about April 11, 2018 c. 540 Port Carteret Road, Carteret, NJ - "Freon Room" The employer did not ensure that work areas were kept clean and free from hazards. Maintenance employee workbench areas were not kept clean and storage of tools and equipment created trip hazards. Violation observed on or about April 11, 2018
