Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards of anhydrous ammonia because the employer did not insured that doors of ammonia compressor rooms were tight sealing. (a) Line B Compressor Room: On or about April 2, 2018 and at times prior, the roll-up doors on the south side of the compressor room are not tight sealing. (b) Line A Compressor Room: On or about April 2, 2018 and at times prior, the doors on the south side of the compressor room are not tight sealing. Note: Abatement certification and documentation is required for this item. Dickinson Frozen Food, Inc. was previously cited for this standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection #1117009, Cit. 1, Item 3b issued on May 25, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at East 3000 North, Sugar City, Idaho. The final order date was February 28, 2017.
