29 CFR 1910.215(a)(2): Abrasive wheel(s) used on grinding machinery were not provided with safety guard(s) which covered the spindle end, nut, flange projections: On or about March 22, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees utilize the cutoff machines with guarding in place to cover the spindle end and nut projection. Korff Holdings, LLC dba Quaker City Castings was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.215(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 916302 citation number 1, item number 6a, and was affirmed as a final order on November 12, 2013 with respect to a workplace located at 310 East Euclid Street, Salem, OH 44460.
