29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about February 28, 2018 at the Missouri Cooperage facility- in the Bourbon Barrel Finish department on the second floor near the Geon Machine, employees were exposed to serious injuries to the fingers and hands, in that the Sprocket Wheels and Chain from the barrel conveyor were not enclosed. Missouri Cooperage was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1288403, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 13, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1078 South Jefferson Avenue, Lebanon, Missouri.
