29 CFR 1926.62(d)(1)(i): Each employer who had a workplace or operation covered by 29 CFR 1926.62 did not initially determine if any employee was exposed to lead at or above the action level of 30 micrograms per cubic meter of air (30 ug/m3) calculated as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA): a) Work site at 1314 Central Ave., Union City, NJ The employer did not make an initial determination whether painters who removed lead containing paint were exposed to lead at or above the action level. Three painters were exposed to 13.8, 13.2 and 13.6 ug/m3 lead as an 8 hour Time Weighted Average. Sampling periods were 141, 269 and 287 minutes respectively. Zero exposure was assumed for time not sampled. Violation occurred on or about 2/15/18.
