OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees who were exposed to struck-by hazards due to inadequately guarded hand grinders. On or about January 25, 2018, the employer's management system was ineffective in provide oversight of the Welding Department to ensure that employees were consistently using hand grinders with appropriate guarding.
