Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Production area - On or about 1/24/2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to eye and skin hazards in that the employer failed to provide facilities of quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body for employees were working with hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to Sodium Hypochlorite (corrosive) and Smart Wash/SW Original Formula (corrosive). Club Chef Southeast was previously cited for a violation of the this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection # 1176867, Citation 1, Item 1 and was affirmed as final order on 01/19/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4322 Moreland Avenue, Conley, Georgia.
