29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) Trinity Baptist Church, 410 Kline St., Weatherly, PA: Workers were using pneumatic nail guns to install roofing shingles and were not wearing appropriate eye protection, as observed on or about December 21, 2017. Strong Contractors Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1229431, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 15, 2017 with respect to a work place located at 1528 W. Girard Ave., Philadelphia, PA. Abatement Certification and Documentation Required.
