29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There was damaged parts that adversely affected safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that were broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: Ice House- (a) The two electrical switches and their enclosure were extremely corroded and susceptible to failure. (b) Electrical conductors hanging out of an open enclosure were exposed to damage. (c) There was a hole in electrical motor's power cord enclosure exposing it to further damage.
