29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in the activities covered by this section. The employer is failing to protect the employees from the hazards of amputation by not developing procedures to control potentially hazardous energy. This was most recently documented on November 14, 2017, at the worksite located at 502 E. Old Highway 260, Birch Tree, Missouri. At the time of the inspection, the company had one procedure developed to control hazardous energy to facilitate repairs and other necessary maintenance. Hardwoods of Missouri, LLC was missing energy control procedures for several pieces of equipment throughout the milling plant such as, but not limited to the following: a) Crosscut Solutions Inc. Cut-Off Saw, Model SS14M
