29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Church Roof: On or about November 17, 2017, and times prior, 2 employees and the onsite foreman were installing wood furring strips, metal roofing panels, and a roof cricket on a 8/12 pitched roof, up to 32ft. above grade without the use of a fall protection system.
