29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling: A) Borgers Ohio, Inc., located at 400 Industrial Parkway, Norwalk, OH 44857: On or about October 30, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fall hazards inside the Cell # 6 while employees entered the cell for activities such as, but not limited to, changing Teflon rolls. Employees were exposed to the fall hazards of approximately 5 feet to the lowest level of the pit inside the cell. Borgers Ohio, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard (29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i)), which was contained in OSHA Inspection # 1233428, Citation number 1, Item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 08/22/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 400 Industrial Parkway, Norwalk, OH 44857.
