29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) At 4854 Cypress Loop, Orange Beach, Alabama: On or about October 3, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to operate a skill saw on site that had a small piece of wood wedged into the guard allowing the blade to be exposed and exposing employees to amputation hazards. THE R COAST CONSTRUCTION, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.304(D), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 844244 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 7, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 28, 26702 AUGUSTINE DR., DAPHNE, ALABAMA AND IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1236341, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 21, 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 472 ORLEANS STREET, THE RETREAT AT BON SECOUR, GULF SHORES, ALABAMA .
