29 CFR 1926.300(b)(1): Power operated tool(s), designed to accommodate guards, were not equipped with such guards when in use. a) Lot 31 - front of the house - On or about August 11, 2017 at Rosshandler Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024, employer did not ensure that the Spark guard on the DeWalt D28715 Heavy-Duty 14" (355 mm) Chop Saw with Quick-Change Clamp SN: 309191, which protects employees from the spinning blade and possible blowback from the blade breaking was used properly. Employees cut bricks and other masonry material using the unguarded chop saw.; exposing employees to hazards such as but not limited to amputations and lacerations.
