29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i)(M): Powered industrial truck operators shall receive initial training in the following topics to include but not limited to operating instructions, warnings, or precautions listed in the operators manual for the types of vehicle that the employee is being trained to operate: The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by hazards while operating a Toyota forklift Model 426FGCU20 with Serial # 79220. This was most recently documented on or about 5/31/17 at the establishment located at 515 S. 4th Street in Osage City, Kansas. Employees in and around operating forklifts were exposed struck-by hazards in that the employer did not have a manufacturers owner's manual available to provide truck specific training.
