29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven 7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about May 31, 2017, at the Sumitomo Demag SE 385EV, injection molding machine conveyor, the employer did not ensure that the sprockets and chain were guarded. Employees working near the unguarded chain and sprockets when picking up plastic cups and packing them. Employees exposed to the hazard of being caught-in the rotating chain and sprockets. The Prime Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1059373, citation number 1, item number 4, and was affirmed as a final order on October 16, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 407 E Hwy US 90, Schulenburg, TX 78956.
