29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, were not taken out of service until it has been restored to safe operating condition: a) Production Area - On or about May 19, 2017, the employer did not ensure that the TCM Forklift, model #FCG15F9, serial #A12R00483, that had broken back light covers, was missing two rubber foot pedal covers, and had bent and damaged back rests, was removed from service until repairs could be made. b) Production Area - On or about May 19, 2017, the employer did not ensure that the Toyota Forklift, model #7FGCU20, serial #05793, that had broken back light covers, was missing two rubber foot pedal covers, and had bent and damaged back rests, was removed from service until repairs could be made.
