29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section. (a) Planer room: On and before May 10, 2017, employees who perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Newman planer, did they recognize and/or acknowledge the hazards of clearing jammed equipment without first positively controlling all energy sources. Evergreen Mill, LLC dba Clearwater Forest Industries was previously cited at Tamarack Mill, LLC dba Evergreen Forest, for a REPEAT violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 984232, citation number 2, item number 2a, and was affirmed as a final order on December 12, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 3555 Hwy 95, New Meadows, ID 83654. Evergreen Mill, LLC dba Clearwater Forest Industries was previously cited at Tamarack Mill LLC dba Evergreen Forest, for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 915674, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 30, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3555 Hwy 95, New Meadows, ID 83654.
