29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): Enclosed workplaces were not so constructed, equipped, and maintained as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, or other vermin: On or about April 5, 2017, and at times prior thereto, at the facility where employees were exposed to respiratory, contact and ingestion hazards from a rodent infestation in the building that was not constructed, equipped, and maintained to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents and other vermin. The United States Postal service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1195540, citation number 1 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/09/2017, with a final abatement date of 03/08/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 3055 Al Lipscomb Way Dallas, TX 75215.
