29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii): When mechanical equipment was being used, the warning line was not erected at least 6 feet (1.8 m) from the roof edge which is parallel to the direction of mechanical equipment operation, and at least 10 feet (3.1 m) from the roof edge which is perpendicular to the direction of mechanical equipment operation. Location: Southwest roof corner of South Commissary Project, 20850 Vandegrift Boulevard, MCB Camp Pendleton, CA. Warning lines were erected 32 inches from the parapet wall. Employees were not protected from falling 23 feet to the lower level while performing roofing work activities. Tecta America Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 555798, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 5990 Oak Street, Arvada, Colorado 80204.
