29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) On March 10, 2017, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating a power tools without eye protection during carpentry work. All Star Roofing, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 804101, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 31, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1357 West Taylor St., Chicago, IL 60607. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
