29 CFR 1926.651(a): All surface encumbrances that were located so as to create a hazard to employees were not removed or supported, as necessary, to safeguard employees. On or about March 10, 2017 at 2910 North Druid Hills Roads, Atlanta, Georgia: an employee working in a unprotected trench was exposed to a cave in hazard. The sidewalk and parking were not supported in such a manner that it did not create a hazard to the employee working in the trench.
