29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level: a) On February 13, 2017, employees working from frame scaffolding were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet. The Dream Wall, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 908508, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 20, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1740 W. Julian St., Chicago, IL 60622. The Dream Wall, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 190157, citation number 2, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on March 1, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 1631-1645 N. Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL 60025. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
