29 CFR 1910.1030(h)(5)(i)(A): The employer did not establish and maintain a sharps injury log for the recording of percutaneous injuries from contaminated sharps that contained the minimum information such as the type and brand of device involved in the incident: a) Worksite, Allegheny General Hospital, On or about May 29, 2017 - The current 2017 and 2016 sharps injury log did not record the type and brand of insulin syringes, blades, scalpel, and butterfly needles among other sharps devices involved in recordable injuries.
