29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s): Employees were exposed to injury while operating the powered industrial trucks because the Crown Lift Truck, Model Number RC300, Serial Number 1A2289991, had a malfunctioning directional switch and the powered industrial truck was not taken out of service. THE MEIJER GREAT LAKES LIMITED PARTNERSHOP WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALNET STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 498018, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 9, 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE AT 4075 WILMINGTON PIKE, KETTERING, OHIO 45440.
