29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Construction site, Building 100, Unit C2 - On or about January 6, 2017, Employees were observed setting Gable end trusses while standing on the second floor perimeter wall top plates. No form of fall protection or alternative fall protection measures were in use, exposing employees to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet. a) Construction site, Building 100 - On or about January 6, 2017, Employees were observed placing various types of trusses on the second floor ceiling level in preparation for installation while standing on the second floor framing. Multiple areas had unguarded areas and no form of fall protection or alternative fall protection measures were in use, exposing employees to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet to the floor of the second story. c) Construction site, Building 100 - On or about January 6, 2017, Employees walked and worked immediately next to multiple openings for future stairs in the second floor, exposing them to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet.
