29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) Worksite: On or about 12/23/2016, the employer did not ensure that an extension cord being used to power an air compressor was free from recognized hazards, where both ends of the extension cord were pulled from the plug-ends. Jose A. Ortiz, dba Jose Family Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 905442, citation number 002, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/12/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 7 Touro Street, Providence RI, 02904.
