29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: (a) Employees in the warehouse were provided and occasionally used disposable dust masks during house keeping and inventory tasks to protect themselves from exposure to nuisance dust and upper respiratory tract irritation. Employees were not trained on the information of Appendix D of the Respiratory Protection Standard (29CFR1910.134) to inform employees of the usage and limitations of disposable dust mask respirators.
